    INTRODUCTION:

    The XRN Series is the result of wisman's  exceptional high voltage packaging and surface mount fabrication techniques, coupled with its proprietary encapsulation technology producing this ultra compact-sized OEM 50Watt X-ray generator module. The XRN Series is designed to power grounded cathode X-ray tubes from a variety of well known manufacturers. It features a 0 to 50kV high voltage output, and up to 2mA of emission current limited to 50, 65 or 75 Watts, operating from a +24Vdc input. The XRN utilizes a closed loop filamentry beam control circuit to provide a highly regulated beam current. The ground referenced low noise DC filament supply operates between 0.3 and 3.5 amps. Offering tight regulation, high stability and low ripple, the XRN provides users both local and remote analog control to set beam voltage, emission current and filament current limit.An optional USB, RS-232  interface is available.

    SPECIFICATIONS
    Input: DC24V±10% DC, maximum current 5A.
    Output: negative 20KV, 30KV, 40KV, 50KV, 65KV, ray tube used for negative high voltage filament suspension.
    Voltage control:

    Local:  the multi-turn potentiometer can set the output voltage from 0V to the highest voltage.

    Remote control: external 0 to 10V control signal can adjust the output from 0V to the highest output voltage.
    Emission current control:
    AC filament power supply: the output current is adjustable from 0-5A. There is a filament preheating function.
    Voltage regulation :
      Relative load: 0.01% (no load to rated load)
      Relative input: ±0.01% (input voltage change is ±10%)
    Current regulation:
      Relative load: 0.01% (no load to rated load)
        Relative input: ±0.01% (input voltage change ±10%)
    Ripple voltage: Under the premise of output rated voltage, the peak value of the ripple voltage is 0.1% of the highest output voltage.
    Stability: less than 0.05% every 8 hours after starting on for half an hour.
    Temperature coefficient: ≤25ppm per degree Celsius
    Working temperature: 0 to +50°C.
    Storage temperature: -40 to +85°C.
    Voltage and current indication: 0 to +10V, accuracy is 1% under rated output conditions.

    Connector:
    High-voltage output connector: dedicated high-voltage cable, the power supply does not include high-voltage cable.
    Input and output connector: DB15 terminal connector, including control and display signals.
    Remote control of output voltage and current:
    External potentiometer: Use external 0 to 10V voltage to remotely control the output voltage and current. The reference ground for this 10V voltage is DB15-1.
    USB and RS232, RS422: The accuracy of the standard digital monitoring system is 2%. The control software runs with the help of the Windows platform, and all the control and related data display can be realized and obtained through the computer.
    Analog remote voltage indication:
    JP2 contains 0 to 10V voltage and current indication signals, which can be connected to various digital or pointer meters.
